Stakeholders

The Hamlet School's Governing Body is chaired by Mr Les Griffin. The School Governing Body is made up of five parent members along with selected members of staff and Mrs Segri Subrumuny (CEO of The Hamlet Adult and Residential Centre), as well as Mr Justin Cowley (Treasurer of The Hamlet Foundation). Members of the Governing Body are elected every three years. An AGM is held on a yearly basis, where the school's proposed budget is approved by parents from The Hamlet.

The Hamlet School is closely supported by it's sponsoring body, The Hamlet Foundation. The Hamlet Foundation is located in Rewlatch, Johannesburg and functions as a protective workshop and residential facility for adults with an intellectual disability. We strive to equip our learners to function within The Hamlet Workshop after the age of 18 years. Please note that applications should be made for entrance into the Workshops, and admission is not automatic.
